There’s still time to catch up with some classic cars today and tomorrow, as the tenth annual Cruise Martinborough makes its way around the region.
The event revved up on Thursday with a cruise to the Gladstone Pub followed by a trip to Castlepoint Beach, while yesterday the convoy of classic vehicles parked up at Farrier Park to enable locals to enjoy some moto madness.
Today, Martinborough Square will be filled with classic collectables from 11am, with a prize-giving for drivers scheduled at 2.30pm
Tomorrow at 10am the cars will be proceeding to the Masterton Motorplex for a final showing.
Event organiser Damien Pivac is happy to see all those who have shown up, with over 300 vehicles participating.
“We’ve got lots of people, and you don’t need to be a car enthusiast, it’s for everyone,” he said.
“It’s mostly American cars from the ’50s, and ’60s, though with some others in there as well.”
