Central Business Innovation [CBI] is partnering with Fuji Film to do business with more of a community focus.
The company, already based in Palmerston North and New Plymouth, is now venturing into Masterton, rebranding the Fuji Film offices on Queen St to reflect a desire to connect more with regional communities.
This is part of a new partnership with the global corporation to promote more local ownership.
“We are still selling and servicing the same products: printers, digital displays and other technology,” general manager Jason Flynn said.
“We still have our large client base including the police and local hospital. However, this new growth model facilitates more local ownership.
“This model should also allow us to get more involved with the community and local events.”
The partnership has been in place in two other cities and is set to expand to eight regional centres.
“I think having local owners is important in this day and age, with staff supporting and looking after their communities. It’s far more effective.”
He has confidence that the market is still strong, stating, “Offices aren’t paperless yet. There is still demand.”
Flynn has spent over 20 years in the printing industry and still enjoys it.
“There is toner in the blood,” he said.
The building will soon switch out the Fuji Film branding in favour of CBI signage and company vehicles.
While Fuji Film will no longer be visible on the building, Flynn still wanted to express his appreciation.
“I want to thank Fuji Film for bringing the brand to market and supporting the local perspective.”
