There’s still time to donate gifts to the annual Community Christmas Tree collection, but you’ll have to hurry because it finishes this afternoon. Started by Masterton Trust Lands Trust [MTLT] three years ago as “a tangible way the trust could help spread joy at Christmas” when the local community was feeling the financial pinch of the pandemic, the collection is also supported by Eastwood Motor Group [EMG]. This year MTLT has donated and wrapped $1000 worth of gifts, but there’s still plenty of room for other donations under the trees at the Trust Building at 189 Queen St or EMG at 144 Dixon St, where they can be dropped off between 9am and 4.30pm.
