New printer
Today’s edition marks the first time the Times-Age has been printed at Stuff, Petone, under a new long-term contract, a change that’s been prompted by the pending closure of Webstar’s Masterton printing facility. Publisher Andrew Denholm said his relationship with Webstar has spanned decades, having worked at the company during his university holidays and more recently contracted it to print the Times-Age, Midweek, and Wairarapa Property for the past six years. While the need to move away from Webstar is a shame, especially for the workers affected by the Masterton closure, Denholm said he is excited to form a long-term relationship with Stuff. Midweek and Wairarapa Property will be printed at Stuff from next week, while New Zealand Memories will continue to be printed at Webstar in Auckland.
